Leonardo Immaginato

For Futura Expo 2023, Field A1 collaborated with Massimiliano Siccardi and Luca Longobardi to create Leonardo Immaginato, an immersive installation that carries the audience into the mind of Leonardo da Vinci. Housed in Brescia's Padiglione Vegetale, the installation turned Leonardo's sketches and studies into a dynamic digital narrative. Using AI-generated imagery and an original score by Luca Longobardi, the work immerses visitors in the genius's thought process, drawing them into his observations on nature, science, and art.

Two imposing 18-by-5-meter screens brought his most celebrated drawings to life, guiding the audience through a multisensory journey in which a narrating voice revealed the deep insights of Leonardo's mind. The project wove in digitally recreated sounds of nature to evoke the environment where Leonardo worked and found inspiration. Leonardo Immaginato was a bridge between past and future, fusing artistic tradition with the most advanced digital technology to offer an experience that transcends time and invites reflection on the connection between art, nature, and science.
